After 3 days of trip, there is a lot of stories to tell…..
1st day 4/11/2003 – Tuesday
Woke up at 7 am this morning. Too early? No, because it is a great distance between my house and Terminal Putra LRT station. I took a bus and went down to KL town center with a big and clumsy luggage (wow!), with lots of food (to prevent me from dying of hunger). Unluckily, I sat with a mentally disordered man on the bus who keeps mumbering and act weirdly. I arrived at Masjid Jamek LRT station at 8 am and took a train straight to Terminal Putra.
When I arrived at Terminal Putra, I saw MY and TY sitting at there, plus KY managing those tickets (just to say, RK is still holding my pen which he borrowed when he wants to count people who came at that time). We didn’t realized that the bus depart time is over and the bus left us behind, luckily the operator at the counter did call the bus to return back and picked us up. Well, it is a complete chaos as we still have somebody who haven’t arrived yet. But anyway, we (those who are ready) still got on to the bus and a few people stayed to wait.
We arrived at Genting Skyway Station after an one-hour bus ride. The price for everything starts to raise here (for example, a can of carbonated drink costs RM2). After a cable car lifting, we arrived at the city of entertainment – Genting Highlands.
After settling down our luggage, some of my friends went to First World Plaza first. I went to First World Plaza with XL and HK after that. It is so difficult for me to climb up the slope (almost died of asthma while I don’t have). We met those friends in front of the entrance of ‘Haunted Adventure’. It’s a bit pricy (RM 18) to enter it, even if I am a child (RM 15, for MY only). There is a visitor limit so our group is broken up into 2. I enter the house with ZY and MY (only? Yupe!). Felt so dark and creepy (plus lonely) when walking in it. Hmm….. many disgusting stuff to see (just like those I have seen in the movie ‘Jeeper’s Creepers’). But something different for me is, it is not air-conditioned enough like other haunted house does. We meet the other team in some time because we walk quickly and they walk slowly. And after that, we walked slowly together. We are scared by some real humans (who pretend to be ghost) but not machinery ghosts. After we arrived at the exit, we felt the journey was to short so we decided to make surprise for other people. And the result is, a little girl cried.
We decide to have our lunch at KFC. I and MY have a promotion card which can get a 30% discount (but with a time limit of 2.30 pm). We waited there eagerly for the time to come and lastly we managed to get our meal with a reduced price. After that, we went back to Ria and we have ended our first day journey.
The breeze was so enjoyable at night (for me and qyang only, not for the others). We talked many things before sleep and we promised to keep it a secret (right????).
2nd day 5/11/2003 – Wednesday
KY woke up so early this morning to make breakfast (something like 清明节). Thanks god because it’s still eatable and I have brought some cup noodles. We will be going to the outdoor theme park today. Once again, it’s a hard time for me to climb. The ticket price is RM 29 (as I have expected because the management authorities package the outdoor ticket with the waterpark ticket), so I have decided to ride more rides. The first ride is the Spinner. Once again I felt some faintness after riding on it (just like last year when I rode it).
After that, we head to Corkscrew — the gigantic double loop roller coaster in Malaysia. the first sight really stops me from riding on it but after some persuasion from my friends, I ride on it. Well, it doesn’t look as bad as I thought. Only the first freefall makes me feel ‘high’.
After that, we queue up for Fun Kart. After ages of waiting, we race among us. I don’t know why did KY drive so recklessly even after I warned him several times, and he still didn’t listen to my advice, causing my car to crash with his car (and you can think of the result with Physics knowledge).
Well, I am still not braved enough to step on to Space Shot (it looked to intense to me). So, I, WC and MY went for other rides (Pirate Train and Showboat Marine Fantasy). While others go for several times of Space Shot ride (how crazy!). We met them in front of Space Shot and head to Tea Cup after that. MY and KS was heavily sicked after the ride (ha! I and WC are saved from illness because we sit in our teacup without crazy spinning.
The Rolling Thunder Mine Train is quite fun for its speed and sound. We yelled and yelled as others people do. Then we have our Sungai Rejang Flume ride. I am with the same boat with JJ and LS. Unluckily, we are caught in rain when we are in the middle of our ride. We became the ‘chicken in the soup’ as the boat moves slowly and the water splashes greatly. And my glasses spoilt after being hit by rain drop. MY and I went to England Optical in First World Plaza to get it fixed and we have our lunch there. MY have McDonald and I have Kenny Rodgers (using my mother’s coupons). We went back to Ria to rest (after getting wet). It’s extremely cold when those breeze is blowing. I think I will be suffering from a great illness after this.
This night, the breeze are not enjoyable due to the illness. I felt asleep in the sofa in no time. And I moved into the room and sleep on the floor after being awaken by the others. The night is cold, freezing cold, and I have no blankets and pillows…….. so suffering…
3rd day 6/11/2003 – Thursday
My body is fulled with pain when I woke up. Something like going to get a fever. MY gives me some Panadol. It’s time to go back. This time I changed my journey. I take a LRT ride with WC at Masjid Jamek to Sultan Ismail to prevent congestion on bus. I am back to my house at about 4 pm. I sank into my bed and sleep until 7 am next morning…..
