Well, Vanessa called me at last last Friday to Redbox… Too bad I cannot make it… Because I’m going back to my hometown on Saturday…
The journey is pre-planned to be started at afternoon, but everybody’s busy doing their things… So, my mum want us to leave after dinner… My mum didn’t tell me that once a nasi lemak gets sticky, it’s rotten… Luckily I ate only a few spoon before I decide to leave it there… So no food poisoning case happened… At last, we leave our house at 8pm… Without my eldest brother (Yay!) and my mum (No…) because my eldest brother is going to sit for his last exam before he can become a houseman… and my mum needs to take care of him…
The journey will be long… so i decided to bring my discman with me… It didn’t serve me well enough because my father is listening to the car radio at the same time…
Traffic jam happens when we’re still in KL area… Looks like everybody’s choosing the same time to balik kampung like us…
We crossed 3 long bridges during the journey… The bridge in Kuala Selangor was widen… The journey was safe (Or I’ll not be blogging here right?), just that there’re some frightening moment while my father is overtaking others… Anyway, I did saw something weird during the journey… There’s some people fishing at the bridge although it’s night time… I wonder what they want to catch when fishes are sleeping… And also there’s one motorcycle which has lots of smokes comes out from its engine stopped at the road side… Blown out engine?? No eye-deer…
We took 3 hours to reach our hometown – Sitiawan… So we reached there at about 11pm… While passing through the houses in Kampung Koh, I saw many of them already have gigantic joss stick ready in front of the house, including my grandmother’s house… Got pineapple shape and dragon shape… And my the one in front of my house is the dragon shape one – same like the other years… And it’s the largest gigantic joss stick if compared to the houses in the same street…. Kinda proud (haha…)…
Our car arrived in front of the gate… The house is dark… Everyone is having their dreams… One silly dog greet us… That’s our pet dog since last year… White in colour… Was a wild dog before… Hopefully no disease… And what I mean silly is really silly…. Loves to lick people over and over again…
After some yelling, our grandmother greets us happily… We moved those new year food into the house and put it on a table… Now it looks like a contributory platform liao… With all food on it…
*Now that starting from this point, every relatives listed here will be father-side relatives*
One of my uncle arrived a bit later than us… He’s a Singaporean-Malaysian who lives in Singapore… So only he came back to Sitiawan because Singapore didn’t have much holiday for CNY…
The I took a look at my cousin brother’s computer… The monitor looked so blur until I started to worry whether my eyesight has became worse liao… Luckily my brother bought a good monitor for me… *Muack* (Kissed on my monitor…) *Zap
And then I got nothing to do… Sleep mode initiated…
Sunday morning… Ate dried noodles as breakfast… Just as everytime when I came back to Sitiawan… The taste is different from those dried noodles in KL…
Then I played GTA: Vice City… More items if compared to GTA3… But less gross if compared to GTA3 since you can separate each body parts of a pedestrian in GTA3 but in GTA: Vice City you can only separate his/her head from his/her body… (Hehehe… Maniac here…)
At first it’s quite interesting… but finally I got bored… And also the monitor gets blurrer with the time… Sigh…
Anyway, my cousin brother did show me his way of playing Generals… Quite a rush type also… But not suitable in dealing with Brutal Enemy because he didn’t know the importance of diversity… He just love to use a large group of Paladins to overwhelm the enemy but at last he is overwhelmed by the enemy… He persuaded me to show him my skill but I don’t want to… (Kiasu mah…)
I believe everybody have this kind of routine during Chinese New Year: Eat, play, sleep, defecate, eat, play, sleep… Right? Me too… How enjoying and boring… However, I didn’t play much this year, because of a little bit sick of computer games…
Anyway, the weather is very hot during afternoon… Hotter than in KL… I can feel the heat wave splashing on me… Not suitable for napping because for every area which my body contacts with the bed, it sweats… Have to bath frequently… However, things are completely different at night… It’s quite cooling and the need for fan can nearly be negligible (Even for me)…
Soft drinks in this house are plentiful… Cartons and cartons of drinks are available…
Watched a movie version of Crayon Shin-Chan today… Still as funny as its episode version..
sleep mode initiated after that…
Monday… (A day everyone hates but not me for now…) I ate our village’s nasi lemak this time… Also taste different from those in KL… It uses pickled cucumbers…
And then I go get a haircut together with my brother and cousin brother… My brother bought some gong biang (A Fok-Chow delicacy) for us to munch while waiting for our turn… I never ate “gong biang” just after it has been made… Taste wonderful… And the haircut??? Costs RM6 each person… A little bit more expensive than my usual hairdresser in Jalan Gombak…
I watched “The Cat Returns” – an animation by Hayao Miyazaki… He’s really a magical animation creator… Really amazed by his imagination…
Then I folded gold papers with my cousin sister and my brother which will be used tomorrow… They folded something looks like cup while I suggest folding “yuan bao” and my suggestion is accepted and is only executed by me…
And then I experience the same CNY routine again…
Sleep mode initiated at night..
Tuesday… A day before CNY.. Quite an important day you know… It’s called “Chu Xi“… While other Chinese used to have unity dinner, our custom is to have unity lunch…. (This is what Fok-chows do…) Delicacy and cuisines are served during lunch, not at dinner…
But before, we have our unity lunch, we’ll have to invite our ancestors to have the lunch first… And thus those papers folded yesterday is used here…
Anyway, it’s really funny to say that we are united that day because there’re only a few relatives leh… My father and our family, and then two of my uncles (One used to stay at Sitiawan and one comes from Singapore), and then my cousin brother sister (Who used to stay at Sitiawan with my grandmother, parents work at outstation) and then of course my grandmother… Anyway, there’s a few Fok-Chow delicacy which I wish to introduce only if I have a digital camera…
I watched Johny English that day… Not so satisfying… Keep showing the stupidity of Johny English as if he was still Mr. Bean…
Then I started to complain about the lack of fireworks… My cousin brother thus brought us to a grocery shop to buy them in an underground-looking transaction… I bought a box of dragon eggs (24 X 5 eggs) with RM 20 and also some explosive matches with RM 0.70 each… Looks like the fireworks started to become cheaper this year… My cousin brother share a box of Sky Thunder with my brother… I don’t like the noise it make while flying up so I didn’t share with them…
The fun starts at around 11pm when the Moon Travellers are travelling around and the Sky Thunder are thundring around… We of course join the fun together…
The game gets crazier when you start to see Roman Candles litting up the sky here and there as if there is a competition… Those are the more expensive type of fireworks available with RM10 for each explosion with stars around it…
The sound gets noisier when it’s near 12 am… Many people started to let off their firecrackers… Our family had prepared 2 strips of firecrackers this year (What a proud thing to say… Hahaha…)… ANd the gigantic joss stick is lit at the same time…
And while the firecrackers’ sound is occupying each inches of the air, my mother called my brother’s h/p… What a good timing… She’s complaining about our broke pipe in our own house… Sigh… CNY just started already no “water” come liao… Bad luck bad luck…
The apex of fireworks display started around 12.15 am… Where those most expensive type of fireworks are being shown… Hundreds and hundreds are being burned… One of the firework display location shoot out a line formation of explosion several times… Walau… Greater than countdown in KLCC leh… Next time no need to see Independence Day’s firework dislay liao… Those people are really rich…
And our cheap fireworks??? Just for our fun only…
Anyway, till this point there aren’t any other relatives arrived at my grandmother’s house yet… Sigh…
Wednesday, CNY has arrived finally… The new year music is so loud… I guess everyone is excited gua…
And today, more relatives arrived at my grandma’s house finally… And the contributory platform gets filled up… However, I got a little bit annoyed by those kids’ attitude… Not even a “Kor kor” is called during the whole CNY… Sigh… What can I do??? (The girl even called my full name leh… Walau…)
For Thursday, more relatives came… Those kids attitude again… Sigh…
And also, we watched RE: Apocalypse again… How boring… Wanna vomit liao…
And since things are getting hotter, gambling happens that night… only… Sigh… Not like other years, gambling happens every night…
Friday, watched some part of Initial D Stage 2… Felt in love with the series liao… Takumi is so cool… No changes in his expression even while competing with others… His father is even cooler… His eyes are closed throughout the whole series… Even while driving… I wonder how he do that… And for sure, I’ll pursue the series after returning to KL…
I watched Hikaru No Go too… My brother loves to watch it…. But not me because I’m not so interested in Go chess…
At the same time, I watched Spirited Away too (By Hayao Mayazaki again….)… Wonderful… wonderful… wonderful… Truly a magical animation writer…
And today, those kids played fireworks crazily… Throwing dragon eggs at pedestrian just because those pedestrians tried to startled them… No eye to see…. Sigh…
Some of my relatives start to went back to KL liao… Till we meet again, bye!
For Saturday, it was my last day at there… Time flies… And just for satisfying my curiosity, I tried to play Ghost Restaurant… And then the kids again… Crying at my back just for me to let them play… Sigh…
Another 3 hour journey to go back to KL…
*The end of my hometown journey*
Anyway, I wish to mention something idiotic again… the most noticable clue for the reason of why I’m reaching the boiling point (Or maybe freezing point for some other people)… I was so close to Pangkor Island… but nobody wants to go with me… Sob.. Sob.. I wanna to summon Leviathan liao… *$@%^!@$%
I wanna go to cinema too… Want to watch Constantine like Vince did… haha…
And my Angpau’s?? RM 287 only… How pitiful…
Something to add to my woes I meantioned in the last post… I’m not interested in any sports game… Nor football nor basketball… not like any other of my friends did… Sigh…
I wanna work… I wanna work… Wanna only…
Initial d’s soundtrack are cool… Thinking of putting it up in my blog…
And this picture has became my wallpaper…

Hahaha…
