Planned to finish drawing my oral pathology slides, but ended up in MSN-ing some people on my contact. Haha.
Didn’t touch the book at all but anyway I felt contented.
It’s raining now, weird weather… Was OVEN HOT for a few weeks already, but now suddenly rain. Anyway it’s a good thing that I can sleep well tonight.
A scary domino effect has unfolded on me when my best pal left 2 days ago. Was in kind of deep shit. Nearly went cuckoo.
Thanks to those who helped me out of this agony especially my fellow ex-roomate hallmate.
Here’s a joke which happened to be “created” by our very own local Indian friends:
Before you understand the joke, I’ll have to explain 2 terms – insertion (as explained in previous post, it’s the final step in denture fabrication, the try-in for the denture on the patient’s mouth while suitable modifications are made as necessary), extraction (in usual term – pulling out of teeth)
In Oral Surgery department… (where people come for extractions)
Patient: “Oouuh, Aouh, Aahh..”
Tempe: “This doesn’t sound like extraction”
Tempe 2: “Yeah, it sounds like insertion”
All: ROTFLOL
Came across this term ‘Wanton’ when reading the Oral Surgery book, something about the wounds, which when left wanton, give complications, etc. Found out the real meaning of ‘Wanton’
adj. (of something bad, such as damage, cruelty, waste) extreme and showing complete lack of care:
or
adj. (of a woman) behaving or appearing in a very sexual way
Anyway both the meanings are very different from the wanton (云吞) I knew. LOL.
*put on flaming suit and prepared to be flamed for lousy English
